…Seriously, guys. Be patient. The chapter is 64 freaking pages long.

Do you know how long the standard Weekly Jump chapter is? 19 pages. Even the monthly titles I work on are rarely more than 50 pages. Keep in mind too that Nuramago isn’t the only series I translate.

The Nuramago fandom has turned me off to the series so much that I actually don’t evenwantto translate the last 3 monster chapters. It’s like… I look at 208 and my brain goes “meh”. And then I look at Haikyuu!! with its random walls of text and my brain’s like “WE CAN DO THIS!”

ryoflame a demandé: Wow, rude. In the Japanese text, ‘lock’ and ‘rock’ are written the same. In Japanese fanart you’ll see variations of both because of this (same with a lot of other stand names with ambiguous spellings). Using a variant of the many different kinds of spelling won’t ‘ruin’ your picture. Maybe don’t be such a dick about it.

a translation sorta-status report (with ramblings)
Planning to post translations for Haikyuu!! chapters 19, 20 and possibly 21 at the same time. 19 and 20 will probably be done within the week. Current status is as follows:
chapter 19: 18/19 chapter 20: 11/23
As for the secret project I’m doing in celebration of my having reached 100 translations on mangahelpers, it’s currently about 18/47 (yes, it’s a long one @_@)....

Happy birthday, ochimizu!
Evidently it’s ochimizu’s birthday, so I dug around in my translations folder to see if I had anything I could post for the occasion. And thus! Here’s a rather large chunk of Hakuouki Yuugiroku’s opening scene.
