I swear, I will never stop loving this series.
I’ve only skimmed the raw (haven’t started translating yet), but it made me giddy and thus I had to share some spoilers.
Also, Issue #17 (chapter 54) will have center color.
This chapter was MUCH better than the series has been as of late. I was pleasantly surprised. That being said, here’s a summary of events along with a few translation snippets.
I am determined to finish this tomorrow (today I ended up a bit busier than I’d anticipated), but here’s a preview of why Yoshihira (Seimei’s son) had me going “T^T awww…” while reading:

Ao, Kuro, the Arawashi Clan and the Tsuchigumo Family vs. Yuiyui
Here it goes to a fight already in progress.
At the main house, gramps uses the last of his fear to restore his youth (? not too sure on this one)
Gramps, Setsura and Gyuuki vs. the group attacking the main house.
Gramps jokingly says that Orochi isn’t as good a woman as Youhime, and Setsura gets angry.
Rikuo and Tsurara vs. the Second Head

Rikuo and Tsurara head for Seimei.
Hagoromo Gitsune reaches Seimei’s location.
Kiyotsugu et al provide support for (or cheer on) the main house.
Yura hasn’t charged in yet.
Oh… my god. Araki, you- what- I AM SPEECHLESS. That family tree, hooooly shit. So… does this mean that the new universe Kujos at the end of Stone Ocean aren’t actually Joestars? I mean, Stone Ocean’s end is in the same universe as SBR, isn’t it? AHHHHH. But I love how the Joestar tree is more or less the same as it was in the original universe (except no Giorno, which is sad). LisaLisa, Joseph, Suzie Q, Holly…
…oh god. NEW UNIVERSE JOSEPH, DON’T EVER SEX UP ANY HIGASHIKATAS, OKAY? ‘Cause you’re kinda related.
…There’s a village of partial-yokai and Rihan is sleeping within it? I know it also says that’s where his gravesite/tomb is located (which is weird anyway), but why use 寝る (neru)? Doesn’t that imply that he can potentially wake up someday? Not to mention that Wakana even says that Nurarihyon goes to the village pretty frequently, and it’s a place that possesses a strange power (plus it’s where Gitsune was revived).
I know shounen manga don’t like killing protagonists and keeping them dead, but geez. Don’t revive Rihan, Shiibashi. That would be an utterly horrible move, regardless of what the fangirls say.
On another note, the general consensus that this is the last arc seems like it could be true. The partial-yokai village is where humans and yokai live in harmony, and Rikuo intends to go there after the battle with Seimei. That in itself seems pretty final to me…
